Sonja Morgan Reveals Popping a Liposuction Stitch While Engaged in Intimate Activity During Filming of Her Upcoming Show

Sonja Morgan made a surprising revelation during her appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. The Real Housewives of New York City star, aged 59, confessed that her playful behavior on a new Bravo reality show led to a mishap with a liposuction stitch. She disclosed that this incident occurred while engaging in intimate activities with a truck driver named Billy Richard in Illinois. The steamy encounter took place during the filming of her upcoming show, “Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake.” Sonja shared the details, saying, “I popped a stitch from my liposuction. It didn’t even faze the guy.” However, her co-star Luann de Lesseps, aged 58, wasn’t too pleased. Sonja explained, “Luann quickly got over it and told me I couldn’t wear a compression garment on the show due to the heat.”

Sonja Morgan went on to discuss her close relationship with Luann, stating that they can handle anything thrown their way. “We have no problem,” she said confidently. “Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake” is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, July 9th at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Additionally, Luann and Sonja recently filmed “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” in St. Barts, alongside Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman.

After previous attempts at creating a revival series fell through, “RHONY Legacy” was officially announced in May at the NBCUniversal Upfront presentation, with an exciting cast of New York alum. Although the Peacock spinoff’s release date is yet to be confirmed, fans will be thrilled to see some of their favorite housewives return to the screen. However, one familiar face will be missing – Jill Zarin. Zarin reportedly clashed with Bravo executives during contract negotiations, resulting in the original “RHONY: Legacy” concept being abandoned.

Jill Zarin later clarified that she played no role in the show’s cancellation, attributing it to the producers’ decision. “Legacy didn’t happen because it just wasn’t meant to happen. That’s the truth,” she told Page Six. “It has nothing to do with me. It has to do with the producers and what they decided to do. I don’t really know.”

In the meantime, Sonja is grateful that her partner during the liposuction mishap remained oblivious to the incident. She reassured listeners, saying, “It didn’t even register in this guy’s head.” Despite Luann’s initial reaction, she quickly brushed off the incident and advised Sonja against wearing a compression garment on the show due to the high temperatures.

Don’t miss the premiere of “Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake” on Sunday, July 9th, where viewers will get an exciting glimpse into their escapades. Sonja and Luann’s adventure continues as they join forces with other housewives in “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy,” filmed in St. Barts. Fans may have hoped for the inclusion of Bethenny Frankel in the reunion, but she turned down the offer. Originally planned as a full season under the name “RHONY: Legacy,” the network changed course to feature the fan-favorites for a shorter period. Contract negotiations hit a snag as Bravo reportedly lost interest due to payout disputes between the network and the cast.
