Despite her initial discomfort with newfound fame, Miller has decided to keep the post live.
In her vulnerable post, Miller opens up about the burning sensation she experienced during urination, as well as feeling generally unwell. After visiting her gynecologist and nervously waiting for test results, she was initially diagnosed with a urinary tract infection (UTI). However, her pain persisted, leading to the development of painful sores and a swollen lymph node.
Just thirty minutes before receiving her diagnosis, Miller recorded her feelings of fear and discomfort. After learning that she had herpes, she candidly spoke about the impact on her relationships, dating life, and future plans. She expressed feelings of shame and embarrassment surrounding the diagnosis, admitting to feeling naive and foolish for contracting the disease.
Despite her initial hesitation, Miller made the decision to post her video diaries to a ‘secret’ TikTok account, intending to release her emotions.
