On Friday, ten buildings were damaged in an attack on Zelensky’s hometown, Kryvyi Rih. Photos circulating on Telegram display the aftermath, including a building on fire, burnt timbers, and emergency services evacuating the wounded. Ukrainian Interior Minister, Ihor Klymenko, confirmed that three people were killed in Odradokamianka, a village in the Kherson region, as a result of a Russian bomb.
Simultaneously, Russia is conducting local elections in the occupied part of the Kherson region. Reports from local residents and Ukrainian activists indicate that election poll workers have been accompanied by armed soldiers during house calls. Ukraine has denounced these elections, urging its allies to condemn Russia’s actions and refuse to recognize any administration formed through these votes.
