National: Russia Reports the Biggest Ukrainian Drone Attack in the War, Targeting 6 Regions

Russian officials have accused Ukraine of launching a drone attack on the western Pskov region, as well as other Russian regions, including Bryansk, Oryol, Ryazan, Kaluga, and the Moscow region. This is believed to be the largest drone attack on Russian soil since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine began 18 months ago.

Local media and the governor of Pskov reported that an airport in the region was hit and a massive fire broke out. The Defense Ministry stated that several drones were shot down in the other targeted regions. The attack in Pskov caused damage to four transport aircraft.

In response, the Pskov regional governor canceled all flights to and from the airport so that the damage could be assessed during daylight hours.

The Ryazan and Kaluga regions each had two drones shot down, while the Moscow region had one drone shot down. No damage or casualties were reported in these regions, although residents of Bryansk claimed to have heard a loud explosion.

Ukrainian officials have not yet commented on the accusations or claimed responsibility for the attacks on Russian soil.
