Kanye West’s longtime collaborator Malik Yusef has accused the rapper of aligning with white nationalism. Yusef, who has been collaborating with Ye since 2005, made this statement during the airing of a new BBC documentary, “The Trouble with KanYe.”
In the documentary, Yusef reveals that Ye’s initial goal was to bring awareness to the challenges faced by African people. However, as Ye’s behavior became more unpredictable, Yusef realized that Ye was prioritizing his own success over their mission.
In addition to his erratic behavior, Ye has been seen wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt and has associated with white nationalist Nick Fuentes, whom he paid $15,000 from his presidential campaign funds.
Yusef expressed his disappointment in Ye’s actions, stating that Ye was willing to sacrifice their shared objectives for the sake of white supremacy. He also criticized Fuentes and his views, emphasizing the lack of credibility and information to support them.

In the same documentary, another former collaborator, Alex Klein, accuses Ye of antisemitism. Klein, who created Ye’s Stem Player for his “Donda” album, cut ties with the rapper after he made anti-Jewish statements. Klein believes that Ye is using antisemitic rhetoric for his own benefit and his potential presidential campaign in 2024.
In a conversation with Klein, Ye expressed his belief that Jews are conspiring against him and that his controversial statements actually contribute to his chances of becoming president.
