Renowned for his reality TV show “The Osbournes,” Ozzy Osbourne, originally named John Michael Osbourne, was born in 1948 in England.
During his teenage years, Osbourne admitted to struggling with employment and even engaging in burglary before getting caught after a short period of time.
In his twenties, Osbourne became a part of a band which eventually evolved into Black Sabbath. By the age of 22, they released their first album, achieving chart success in both the UK and US.
Throughout his twenties, Osbourne contributed to numerous heavy-metal albums with the band.
In the late 1970s, Osbourne was expelled from the band due to missed practices and consistent erratic behavior fueled by substance abuse, as recorded in the BBC archives. He went on to pursue several solo projects in the following decades.
In 2002, Osbourne and his family starred in the MTV reality show “The Osbournes,” offering glimpses into their daily lives. In the 2010s, he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a final album and farewell tour.
Despite his health struggles as a septuagenarian, Osbourne continues to release new music and plans to resume touring as soon as possible.
