While the SAG-AFTRA strike is still underway, the writers strike has officially ended. After 146 days, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers reached a tentative agreement with the Writers Guild of America. Moving on to the ongoing saga between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, or as some are calling it, “Swiftce.” After dating an alleged racist, Swift is now hanging out with a beloved NFL player. It seems they are both benefiting from the association. Swift was spotted in the skybox with Kelce’s mother at the Kansas City Chiefs game. It appears that Kelce may have committed too strongly to the friendship bracelet and now has to follow through. According to Page Six, he has a type, and his first ex-girlfriend even spoke out about their relationship from seven years ago. The only thing we can expect from Swiftce now is a breakup anthem.
In more exciting news, Usher has been confirmed as the Super Bowl halftime show performer for 2024. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t performed at the Super Bowl yet! It’s a well-deserved achievement, and we can’t wait to see what Usher has in store. Will he open with “O.M.G.” or “Yeah!”? Only time will tell. And wouldn’t it be great to see him and Justin Bieber recreate their 2011 Grammys performance?
Unfortunately, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is coming to an end. But before we bid farewell, let’s celebrate her incredible success. Beyoncé has broken records, earning $179 million in a single month and securing her spot on Forbes’ list of artists with the highest-grossing tours. We’ve speculated about the set lists and a Destiny’s Child reunion, cried over tickets, dressed up for the stadiums, cheered for Blue Ivy, and danced and sang our hearts out. And when one fan with a wheelchair was unable to make it to the concert, Parkwood flew him out to meet Beyoncé and her mother, Ms. Tina. This incident highlights the larger issue of society’s exclusion of disabled people, as noted by the fan.
