Cryptocurrencies are poised for a successful week following a court ruling on Thursday that sparked a significant and widespread market rally.

Bitcoin is expected to end the week with a 3% increase, according to Coin Metrics, and is on track to surpass $30,000 in value. Despite lower-than-expected inflation figures released on Wednesday and Thursday, the price of Bitcoin remained unchanged for most of the week. After a 4% surge on Thursday, it still couldn’t maintain the important technical level of $31,500. On Friday, it was trading down 1% at $31,251.92.

Ripple’s XRP spearheaded the rally after a judge in the Southern District of New York ruled that it is considered a security in certain cases. XRP is set to finish the week with a 65% gain. The token associated with Solana has risen by 30.5% this week, Cardano’s ada has gained 21%, and Polygon’s matic token is on track to finish the week with a 25% increase. Ether has risen by 7%.
