This collaboration is truly a stroke of genius. The Dunkin’ drink, aptly named the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink, combines the flavors of pumpkin spice and iced coffee. It’s a perfect match for Ice Spice’s fans, who are affectionately called “munchkins” after her hit song “Munch (Feelin’ U).” To make this drink even more irresistible, Dunkin’ has added their iconic Munchkin donut holes into the mix.
The Ice Spice Munchkins Drink starts with Dunkin’s frozen coffee, which is blended with Pumpkin Munchkins. It’s then topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. The result is a decadent and indulgent beverage that is sure to satisfy any pumpkin spice lover’s cravings.
Curious to see what all the hype was about, I decided to try the Ice Spice Munchkins Drink for myself. As a regular black coffee drinker, I was intrigued to taste this unique creation.
The drink had a creamy and milkshake-like appearance. I could clearly see the chunks of pumpkin Munchkins swirled throughout the cup. According to my receipt, even a small size drink contains two entire Munchkin donuts!
Upon taking my first sip, it was evident that the flavor leaned more towards pumpkin spice milk than coffee. The coffee notes were very subtle, and the dominant taste was that of creamy milk infused with pumpkin spice.
Texture-wise, the drink was an adventure. There were chunks of both chewy, sweet Munchkin pieces, and crunchy ice. While the Munchkin pieces added a delightful chewiness, the ice chunks were less appealing.
