Unignorable Claims: Biden and Family Allegations Extend Beyond ‘Father’s Love’ Farewell

Ana Navarro exemplified playing sympathetic music on ABC’s “The View” when discussing the Biden corruption scandal. She claimed that it is a story of a father’s unwavering love for his son, Hunter, and that Joe Biden will never give up on him. It seems like this spin is an attempt by the White House to divert attention from the mounting evidence against the Biden family’s alleged fraudulent activities during Joe’s time as vice president.

The sentiment was echoed by Nick Kristof of The New York Times in an article titled “The Real Lesson From the Hunter Biden Saga: It isn’t about presidential corruption but a determined parent battling his son’s addiction with unconditional love.” However, the allegations against the president and his family can’t simply be dismissed with a sentimental story. Every defendant has their sob story, but coming from a family that has enjoyed immense privilege for decades, it’s a little too much for them to not even offer an explanation.

This time, Biden’s usual stubbornness won’t work. The optics of Hunter and Joe’s brother Jim Biden, who is still under federal investigation, attending a state dinner at the White House in bow ties, just two days after Hunter’s lenient plea deal, was insensitive and raised eyebrows, even at The New York Times. It’s all very amusing, Joe!

Another tactic used to downplay the growing allegations is evident in a recent remark by the president. During a meeting with the Indian prime minister, Biden jokingly claimed that he had “sold a lot of state secrets.” It’s as if he believes he can laugh off any question or concern thrown his way. But the questions keep coming, regardless.

For instance, on his way out of the White House one morning, a Post journalist asked Biden, “President Biden, how involved were you in your son’s Chinese shakedown text message?” The question referred to a WhatsApp message, obtained from Hunter’s iCloud through an FBI subpoena, that IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley provided to the House Ways and Means Committee as part of his testimony regarding DOJ interference in the five-year tax investigation into Hunter.

In the message, dated July 30, 2017, Hunter threatens a Chinese business partner who owes his family money, stating that his father and everyone he knows will retaliate if their demands are not met. Photographs from Hunter’s abandoned laptop place him at his father’s Delaware estate on that same day. So, reporters have been pressing the White House to confirm if Hunter’s claim was true, if his father was present during his attempt to extort millions from the Chinese energy company CEFC.

It should be a simple question to answer, but instead of providing a clear response, Biden responded with derisive laughter. The reporter persisted, asking if Biden was indeed present. Biden leaned in and angrily shouted, “No!” However, bullying reporters won’t make the evidence disappear, and it ultimately implicates the president.

Gary Shapley, the IRS agent leading the criminal investigation into Hunter in Delaware, stated in an interview with CBS that the DOJ obstructed their efforts to protect Joe from exposure. Certain investigative steps were prohibited, preventing them from questioning Joe or other family members who received money from Hunter. They were even denied search warrants and access to Hunter’s laptop, which the FBI verified as genuine and untainted, containing potential evidence of tax crimes by February 2020. Shapley and his team of elite investigators were eventually removed from the case before Hunter received his lenient deal.

Protecting Joe has been the primary goal of the DOJ, FBI, and potentially the CIA throughout both the Trump and Biden administrations. Multiple sources have come forward, alleging a foreign bribery scheme involving the Biden family. For example, in January 2020, the FBI received evidence of alleged bribery related to the Biden family from a woman in Ukraine who had worked for the corrupt energy company Burisma. Giuliani delivered this information to the FBI. Yet, her claims were dismissed, and rumors even spread that she had died, despite her lawyer asserting that she is alive and waiting to present her evidence.

Former federal prosecutor Bud Cummins experienced a similar fate when he reported bribery allegations involving Joe Biden to the DOJ in 2018. Instead of investigating the claims, prosecutors obtained data from his iPhone without his knowledge in 2019. This seems to be the fate of anyone who dares to bring evidence against the Biden family to light.

Israeli professor-turned-fugitive Gal Luft provided detailed information about payments to Biden family members by CEFC during a meeting with six FBI and DOJ officials. However, the only action taken was his arrest on unrelated charges. The evidence keeps disappearing into a black hole, including the evidence that Tony Bobulinski, Hunter’s former business partner, handed over to the FBI before the 2020 election. This evidence, which included messages and documents, supported what the FBI had already authenticated from Hunter’s laptop. Now, the fresh evidence discovered by Shapley and his team further validates Bobulinski’s claims.

The lack of curiosity towards Joe Biden is sadly unsurprising.
