Spotted!
In a recent fishing trip, a 19-year-old student had a remarkable encounter with an extremely rare all-white deer in Wales. The student, Esha Patel, who hails from Cheltenham, England and currently attends Cardiff University, was accompanied by her father when they came across the unusual sight.

Whilst on their Oct. 8 fishing trip, Patel and her father spotted three deer, one of which stood out due to its dazzling white appearance. The awe-inspiring moment was captured on video (watch video above).

“We had never witnessed such a sight before, and my dad jokingly asked if it was a deer or a goat,” Patel recalled with amazement.
“Apparently, it’s really good luck to see them, so I was going to buy a lottery ticket.”
While the other two deer were brown in color, this one was a stunning pure white.

The British Deer Society explains that white deer are typically associated with the fallow deer species, making their sightings in the U.K. extremely rare.
