The climber, known as Remi Enigma, documented his thrilling adventures on Instagram under the name Remi Lucidi. Reports suggest that Lucidi fell from the 68th floor of Tregunter Towers after knocking on the window of a penthouse from outside. The body of a 30-year-old man with a French ID, known for engaging in extreme sports, was found in the Mid-Levels area of the city. While the police did not reveal the victim’s identity, they stated that no suicide note was discovered and initial investigations indicate that the man fell from a ledge.
On Thursday evening, Lucidi entered one of the towers in the Tregunter complex and informed a security guard that he was going to visit a friend on the 40th floor. Instead, he took an elevator to the 49th floor and then climbed the stairs to the top floor of the building. A housekeeper on the 68th floor witnessed Lucidi knocking on a window, requesting to be let in. However, the housekeeper was suspicious and ignored him until he moved away from the window. Lucidi had a significant following on social media, and his followers mourned his tragic demise. Recent posts on Lucidi’s Instagram account showed him standing on rooftops and spires in various locations, including Bulgaria, Bangkok, Dubai, and Portugal. His last photo, posted a week ago, depicted a breathtaking night view of Hong Kong high-rises from a high angle.
