Sophie Turner Talks about Moving to the UK in an Interview with Elle UK

In an interview with Elle UK, Sophie Turner discussed her decision to relocate her family to Atlanta during the filming of “The Staircase” to seek stability.
“I’m not someone who embraces change. I prefer consistency, which is hard to achieve with the nature of my job. So, I move everything – my daughter, my entire household. No more hotel rooms,” said Turner. “We find a house and commit to it. Being away from my daughter at the end of the day is not an option for me. Joe’s job requires him to travel from city to city every night. I have the opportunity to spend more time in one place, so it only makes sense for me to have my daughter with me.”
Turner also expressed her longing for England and her desire to permanently move back to the UK.
“The people, the attitude, everything. I’m gradually convincing my husband to come back with me. I adore living in America, but for the sake of my mental well-being, I need to be around my friends and family,” she revealed. “And I want my daughter to have the same educational and social experiences that I was fortunate enough to have.”
Furthermore, Turner added, “My parents’ house epitomizes the idyllic English countryside – horses, sheep, cows…”
