Black Friday is finally here and Samsung US has some exciting deals exclusively available on its Shop Samsung app. If you’re a student, you can also enjoy these discounts through the web store, although you’ll need to use your student discount to unlock the same price drops as the app offers.
Let’s talk about the foldables first. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 comes with a free storage upgrade to 512GB and a 25% discount through the app. However, keep in mind that the student discount is also 25% and discounts cannot be stacked. Additionally, you can save up to $1,000 with trade-in credit. Note that the free storage upgrade offer is only available through the web store for today.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 gets a 25% discount through the app and offers up to $600 trade-in credit. On the other hand, students can enjoy a slightly higher 30% discount. Remember, the trade-in credit is subtracted from the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) before the percentage discount is applied.

It’s available with a 25% discount through the app or through the web store with a similar 25% student discount. In both cases, the trade-in credit is capped at $800.

Entertainment options are also up for grabs. The Freestyle (2nd gen) projector from Samsung is available with a 25% discount.
