Stag dos have seen a 10% price increase, with costs rising from £191 to £210 since 2022. Jordan Herbert from The Stag Company, a stag do planning service, explained that the main driver behind the price increases for grooms is the accommodation for pre-nuptial celebrations. He suggested that booking earlier can help keep prices down.
However, those considering celebrating their wedding abroad may not face the same price hikes. Some travel providers in EU countries have decided to hold their prices for 2023, taking into account the drop in the value of the pound and not wanting to discourage travel to popular destinations.
