Study Reveals Office Workers’ Distinct Neurodiversity: 90% Consider Themselves Wired Differently, Health Notes Suggest

HEALTH NOTES: Study Shows 90% of British Office Workers Identify as ‘Neurodiverse’

A study has found that nine out of ten British office workers consider themselves “neurodiverse.”

“Neurodiverse” is a term used to describe individuals whose brains function differently from the average person, including those with conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and Tourette’s syndrome.

Previous studies estimated that around 15 to 20 percent of the population is neurodiverse, but this research by Instantprint, an online printing company, suggests that the majority of UK office workers claim to have one of these brain conditions.

The survey, conducted among 1,000 participants, also revealed that women were more likely than men to identify as neurodiverse.
