Study Claims People Are Less Inclined to Swipe Right on AI-written Dating Profiles, Revealing Gender Differences in Deception Perception

  • A study suggests that AI lags behind in online dating, with users being more likely to swipe right on real-life profiles than those written by AI.

While AI may slowly be taking over the world, it still has some catching up to do in online dating, according to a recent study.

The study found that users are more likely to swipe right on real-life profiles compared to those written by AI, with 36% of women and 46% of men swiping right on AI-generated profiles.

Relationship coach and psychotherapist, Alex Limanowka, suggests that the gender disparity in swiping behavior may be due to men relying more on photos and swiping without reading the woman’s profile.
