Stella McCartney Honors Her ‘Rock’ Father Paul McCartney on Father’s Day

The renowned fashion designer experienced a “double celebration” as it was not only Father’s Day but also the 81st birthday of iconic musician and father figure, Sir Paul McCartney.

Expressing her gratitude on Instagram, she wrote: “My father has been by my side every step of the way, offering advice, support, and most importantly, love. While the world sees him as an icon, on this day of double celebration, I simply call him Dad.

“To me, he is my rock. My rock ‘n roll rock! I love you and will always love you. Thank you for making my life better each and every day.

“On this special day, let’s also celebrate all the brave and amazing fathers out there, including those in the Stella family. Stay kind and always show love… x Stella.”

Stella McCartney is one of Sir Paul’s four adult children, alongside Heather, Mary, and James, from his first marriage to vegetarian food entrepreneur Linda Eastman. He also has a daughter, Beatrice, with his second wife Heather Mills, and has been happily married to his third wife, Nancy Shevell, since 2011.

Other celebrities who paid tribute to their fathers on this special day included David and Victoria Beckham, who share four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

In a heartfelt message, David expressed his love and appreciation for his family, thanking Victoria for making him a father and describing them as his biggest success and love. He also shared photos of himself with his children at different stages of their lives.

Romeo, who recently signed a one-year deal with football team Brentford B, expressed his admiration for his father’s talent and called him the most amazing dad on his Instagram story.

Several other well-known figures shared their reflections on Father’s Day, including Nigella Lawson, who paid tribute to her late father, former chancellor Nigel Lawson, and acknowledged that this day can be difficult for those who have lost their fathers. She also shared a delightful recipe for a chocolate peanut butter fudge sundae on Instagram.

Paddy McGuinness, known for hosting “Take Me Out” and “Top Gear,” showed off the Father’s Day cards his children made for him and expressed his excitement and gratitude. He shared their drawings and thanked his children for the special gifts.
