Speculations abound on Bullet Jalosjos’ appearance on ‘Eat Bulaga’ being used for political purposes

TAPE Inc.’s chief finance officer, Bullet Jalosjos, was photographed with its president, Jon Jalosjos, and their sister, Soraya Jalosjos. In response to former Senator Tito Sotto III’s allegations that some program changes proposed by owner Romeo “Romy” Jalosjos Sr. were politically motivated, Bullet Jalosjos denied the claims. During an interview with CNN Philippines’ The Source, he stated that although they had been discussing the possibility of a segment for domestic helpers, there was no such segment at the moment. He also defended the idea of focusing on a minority or marginalized group in the show’s programming. When asked whether there were plans to use the segment as a stepping stone to launch a partylist group, Jalosjos replied that there were none at the moment. The interview occurred on the same day that hosts Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto confirmed their transfer to TV5. Jalosjos expressed happiness for the hosts, saying they had found a new home.
