The Sitcom Spin-Off “How I Met Your Father” Starring Hilary Duff Gets Canceled After Two Seasons on Hulu
The Hulu spin-off of the popular sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” titled “How I Met Your Father,” has been canceled after only two seasons.
Starring Hilary Duff, aged 35, and featuring a cast that included Chris Lowell, Suraj Sharma, and Francia Raisa—who famously donated a kidney to Selena Gomez—the second season of the show concluded in July without revealing the mystery of how the main character met her children’s father.
The original series, “How I Met Your Mother,” enjoyed a successful nine-season run on CBS from 2005 to 2014.
Unfortunately, the spin-off did not fare as well, as a report from TV Line confirms its cancellation after less than a third of the original series’ run.
