Colorectal cancer is on the rise among young adults, and if detected early, it has a five-year survival rate of 91 percent, but the diagnosis faced by many can take time as its symptoms are often attributed to other conditions. The American Cancer Society reported a near 60 percent rate of colon cancer in people aged 50 in 2023, raising concerns of a generation that may face early diagnoses and increased challenges even with improved diagnostic guidelines in place.
