During a show, a mobile pool, along with the diving platforms that acrobats use, collapsed, causing the pool to crack and its water to flow into the Atlantica SuperSplash water ride attraction. The park reported the incident, stating that five performers and two visitors sustained injuries, with three performers being taken to a hospital for examination. The cause of the accident remains unclear.
Europa-Park is a renowned tourist destination that attracted over 6 million visitors last year, primarily from Germany, France, and Switzerland. The park offers various themed areas based on different European countries, as well as three fantasy-themed settings. It also serves as a venue for conferences, events, and television productions.
