Rising Star CeeDee Lamb Claims Title of Best NFL WR with Continued Hot Streak

There are many receivers in the NFL who have a strong claim to being the best. However, CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys is currently on fire.

According to Lamb himself, nobody is better than he is. Lamb has been on an unbelievable streak. In Dallas’ most recent four games, he racked up 117, 158, 191, and 173 receiving yards in Sunday’s 49-17 blowout win over the New York Giants.

When you’re putting up numbers like that, you can say pretty much anything you like. In fact, Lamb had an Ali-like proclamation to the rest of the league.

“I’m the top receiver in this game,” Lamb said, via LoneStarLive.com. “There’s no question about it. And if there is? I’ll see y’all again next week.”

That’s a bold claim, but it might not be entirely wrong. Lamb is on such a roll that he’s even catching passes meant for the sideline. In fact, Dak Prescott was caught on camera sticking out his tongue after completing a pass off his back foot to Lamb, and admitted that he was trying to throw it away. But Lamb wouldn’t let that happen.

While there are several candidates for the best receiver in the NFL, such as Tyreek Hill, A.J. Brown, and Justin Jefferson (when healthy), Lamb has no doubt that he’s the top choice. Judging by how he’s been performing for the Cowboys recently, he might just be right.
