Dr. Mandy Cohen, the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, provided an update to a congressional subcommittee on Thursday regarding cases of respiratory illness in the US. These include flu, the coronavirus, and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV.

“RSV season is in full swing,” Cohen informed the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
