Catania reminisced about the past when Giudice and Gorga had a loving and inseparable bond as siblings. However, she also emphasized that she doesn’t take sides, whether it’s with family or friends, and maintains her friendships with everyone involved. Catania’s long history with the family allows her to navigate the drama without feeling forced to choose sides.
The tension between Giudice and Gorga reached a boiling point in the last season when Melissa Gorga accused Giudice of orchestrating rumors of infidelity for the cameras. This resulted in a heated fight and Melissa and Joe deciding to skip Giudice’s wedding. Despite the behind-the-scenes stress, Catania believes in staying true to herself and remaining strong. She understands that people sometimes say hurtful things when they’re angry and believes in letting those close to her vent their frustrations.
Catania attributes her ability to handle challenges to her upbringing. Growing up in Paterson, New Jersey, with a Marine father who also served as a police chief, she learned resilience. Her experiences have taught her to focus on what truly matters and not get caught up in petty disagreements.
While Catania acknowledges that “Real Housewives of New Jersey” is allegedly returning, she is unsure of the filming schedule. For the first time in six years, she had a summer free from filming. The show has been on hiatus since the conclusion of its 13th season, where the focus was on Giudice’s wedding and the reunion was filmed in April 2023. Catania is uncertain which cast members will return for the 14th season, as contracts have not been discussed yet.
During her time away from the show, Catania has had the opportunity to pursue other projects. She recently graced the cover of BELLA Around Town Magazine, an opportunity she couldn’t take in the past due to filming commitments. Catania expressed her excitement for the magazine and its values, describing the girls she met there as wonderful.
As Catania waits for news on the show’s future, she reveals that her father is eager to return to filming and wants the production team to know he’s available. This break from the show has allowed her to explore other ventures and embrace new opportunities.
