Ore Oduba and spouse Portia face nappy shortage while stuck in Greece

TV presenter Ore Oduba and his wife Portia are among the many holidaymakers who have been left stranded in Greece after their flights home were cancelled. The couple, who have two young children, were scheduled to return to London Gatwick Airport on Monday, but due to a technical fault in the UK’s air traffic control system, their flights were called off. Portia took to Instagram to share their predicament, posting a picture of her children looking out at grounded easyJet planes. She humorously mentioned the lack of supplies, including nappies and clean underwear, and sarcastically thanked easyJet for offering them a voucher for their next flight. Portia even joked about becoming Greek citizens if they couldn’t return home. In a video on her Instagram story, Portia explained that they were down to their last three nappies and were desperately trying to find alternative travel arrangements. She mentioned the possibility of flying from another island with a different airline. Portia expressed her frustration and stress, but also praised their travel representative for assisting them. As the disruption affected thousands of passengers, the Oduba family found themselves with no way of getting home. Transport Secretary Mark Harper has since announced that an independent review will be conducted to investigate the technical glitch.
