On July 27, Kaelyn, a popular TikToker, shared a video where she mixed orange paint with a darker shade in a bowl. She mentioned in a caption that she was creating the perfect living room for her niece who was moving in. Kaelyn then proceeded to apply the paint to her leather couch using a brush, documenting the gradual transformation from black to terracotta with each layer.
The video quickly gained 5.2 million views and attracted over 200 comments. Viewers were divided in their opinions, with some cautioning Kaelyn that the paint would crack once someone sat on the couch. However, others remained optimistic and expressed curiosity to see the final outcome.
