National: Kevin Costner’s Ex-Wife Seeks Monthly Settlement of $326K amidst Divorce Proceedings

The legal dispute between Kevin Costner and his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, is escalating.

In a court filing submitted to the Santa Barbara County Superior Court on Friday, Baumgartner requested that Costner pay $248,000 a month in child support for their three children. She also asked for $350,000 in lawyer’s fees and $150,000 in forensic accounting costs.

Baumgartner also requested that Costner cover the costs of private school tuition, extracurricular activities, and healthcare expenses for their children.

In the court filing, Baumgartner stated that she has no income as a stay-at-home parent.

Baumgartner described their family’s lifestyle as “extraordinary” due to Costner’s high income and expressed her desire to provide a warm and comfortable home for their children while teaching them family values and gratitude.

According to Baumgartner’s lawyers, Costner’s average monthly cash flow is over $1.53 million.

Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12 are Costner and Baumgartner’s three children.

The couple, who were married for 18 years, filed for divorce on May 1 due to “irreconcilable differences.”

Costner alleged that Baumgartner has not moved out of their shared home in Southern California, as required by their prenuptial agreement. He stated that the agreement grants Baumgartner 30 days to vacate the property after filing for divorce.

Costner also claimed to have already given Baumgartner $1.2 million as part of the prenuptial agreement, as well as $200,000 for a down payment on a new residence. He offered an additional $10,000 for moving costs and $30,000 for monthly rental costs.
