Since its inception in 2021, MG Cyberster has remained a prominent concept in the automotive industry. Recently, the British automaker company, MG, has finally revealed the specifications of its highly anticipated electric roadster, the MG Cyberster. Designed at MG’s Marylebone design studio in London, this two-seater car is equipped with dual electric motors.
MG Cyberster: Performance and Availability
Expected to hit the global markets in 2024, the MG Cyberster showcases impressive performance capabilities. Powered by a pair of dual electric motors, it generates an astonishing 528bhp and 725Nm of torque. This electric roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a mind-boggling 3.2 seconds. The car is equipped with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing an exceptional range of 570 km on a single charge.
MG Cyberster: Weight, Dimensions, and Future Plans
Weighing in at 1,984 kg, the MG Cyberster emphasizes the inherent mass of electric vehicles. However, MG plans to introduce a lighter variant of the Cyberster with a rear-wheel drive configuration. This variant will feature an engine powertrain capable of delivering over 295bhp, paired with a smaller 64 kWh battery pack. The rear-wheel drive Cyberster is expected to offer a range of 519 km on a single charge. In terms of dimensions, the Cyberster measures 4,533mm in length, 1,912mm in width, and 1,328mm in height, with a 2,689mm wheelbase.
MG Cyberster: Astonishing Features
Aside from its impressive power and range, the MG Cyberster boasts several remarkable features. It incorporates four-piston fixed calipers to offer enhanced braking performance. The interior showcases a futuristic design, complete with a Bose sound system and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chip-powered touchscreen infotainment system, featuring Unreal Engine 4.0 graphics. The car’s body is aerodynamically optimized, with the MG grille serving as an air duct to ensure proper airflow over the chassis. Additionally, the Cyberster features round MG headlights, an interactive ‘Magic Eye’ headlights system, and a ‘laser belt’ LED strip that runs along the side of the car.

Exuding the brand’s sporting heritage, the MG Cyberster is a scissor-doored roadster. It is set to be available for sale in the United Kingdom and Europe next year. The design of the Cyberster was conceptualized and brought to life at MG’s Marylebone design studio in London. Carl Gotham, head of the design studio, explains, “Our intention was to create a completely new roadster ready for a new generation of sportscar drivers and which opens a bold and compelling new chapter for MG.”
Produced by SAIC Motor under the MG marque, the MG Cyberster is an all-electric roadster launched in 2023, after its concept car version was unveiled in 2021.
