Sept. 6 (UPI) — Breaking the norm in a spectacular fashion, a talented comedian from New York has recently demolished the world record for doughnut stacking during a captivating live streaming show. In just 1 minute, Robyn Schall showcased her phenomenal skills by seamlessly arranging a staggering stack of 13 delectable doughnuts.
This astonishing feat was not a spur-of-the-moment decision for Schall. In fact, she added it to her list of goals for the year 2023, emphasizing her determination to leave an indelible mark on the world.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, Schall shed light on her motivation for pursuing this unique challenge. “When we curated our list of aspirations for this year, one of my kids suggested attempting a Guinness World Records title. I instantly fell in love with the idea, so we added it to the list, which I keep on the inside of my closet door,” she shared eagerly.
With a clear objective in mind, Schall began her quest for the record-breaking doughnut stack. After conducting meticulous research on doughnut-related records, she discovered that the standing record for stacking doughnuts in 1 minute was 12. Unfazed by the challenge, she embarked on an intensive training regimen.
Preparing for the world record attempt involved more than just mastering the art of stacking doughnuts. Schall also had to develop her doughnut-making skills, as it was imperative to use doughnuts of the exact size specified by Guinness World Records. She explained, “To meet the regulations, I worked with doughnuts of varied sizes, some on the smaller side and others on the larger side. Once I accomplished this task, it was solely a matter of practicing my speed,” she revealed.
The moment of truth arrived during a live episode of Sports Talk Prime, where Schall fearlessly undertook the challenge. Despite the nerves, as soon as the buzzer signaled the start of the stacking task, she embraced the present moment and delivered an awe-inspiring doughnut-stacking performance. To the amazement of all onlookers, Schall successfully stacked all 13 doughnuts, solidifying her rightful place in the Guinness World Records.
