Madonna’s Celebration Tour rescheduled after ICU stay; set to commence North American dates at Barclays Center in December

NEW YORK — Madonna’s highly anticipated Celebration Tour is set to commence in Brooklyn, New York, in just a few months.

Back in June, Madonna faced a setback when she was diagnosed with a severe bacterial infection, leading to her hospitalization in an intensive care unit for several days. As a result, the North American leg of her Celebration Tour, which was initially scheduled to start on July 15 in Vancouver and end on October 8 in Las Vegas, had to be postponed until she made a full recovery.

Now, her tour is primed to kick off on October 14 at London’s prestigious O2 Arena.

Live Nation, on Tuesday, announced the rescheduling of Madonna’s North American tour dates. These dates follow her performances in the U.K. and Europe and will start on December 13 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The tour will then run until April 24, 2024, concluding at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes.

Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, the concerts in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tulsa, and Nashville had to be canceled. Refunds will be available to ticketholders at the point of purchase.

When Madonna initially announced the tour postponement, she expressed her gratitude for the support received during her recovery. She emphasized her commitment to regaining her health and assured her fans that she would return as soon as possible.

Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, first shared the news of her health condition, explaining that she had been dealing with a serious bacterial infection that required ICU care. He also reassured fans that she was steadily improving and expected to make a full recovery.
