  • Liverpool Girls High School implements a mask mandate for remaining students and staff
  • Orange High School switches to remote learning for Year 7-10 students

Two schools in New South Wales have been impacted by COVID-19 outbreaks among teachers, leading to changes in their operations. Liverpool Girls High School in Sydney’s southwest has made the decision to send Year 9, 10, and 11 students home to study remotely, while enforcing a mask mandate for all remaining students and staff on campus.

Similarly, Orange High School in central-west NSW has opted for remote learning for Year 7 to Year 10 students, allowing Year 11 and Year 12 students to continue attending school in person.

Despite the World Health Organization declaring the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, these schools are taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of their students and staff.
