Kourtney Kardashian Reassures Baby’s Safety after Critical Fetal Surgery: A Heartfelt Gratitude

Kourtney Kardashian reveals her unborn son is safe after emergency fetal surgery.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star shares a photo of herself in a hospital bed, holding her husband Travis Barker’s hand.

Kardashian expresses her gratitude to her doctors and family for supporting her during this terrifying experience.

“I am forever grateful to my amazing doctors for saving our baby’s life,” she writes. “I am also eternally thankful to my husband for rushing to my side from tour and taking care of me during and after the hospital stay, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through it all.”

Kardashian admits that the scare has given her a newfound respect for mothers.

“As someone who has had three easy pregnancies in the past, I was unprepared for the fear of undergoing an emergency fetal surgery,” she continues. “Unless you’ve experienced a similar situation, it’s hard to comprehend that feeling of fear. I now have a deep understanding and respect for mothers who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”

“Thank God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy safe in my belly was the ultimate blessing,” she adds.

On September 1, Blink-182 announced on Instagram that they were temporarily postponing the European leg of their tour due to an unspecified “urgent family matter.”

“Travis had to return home to the States because of an urgent family matter,” the statement reads. “The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows will be rescheduled. We will provide more information regarding Travis’s return to Europe as soon as it becomes available.”

On Wednesday, Barker thanks his fans for their support and assures them that the tour will resume on Friday.

“God is great,” he tweets. “I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby, and I’m incredibly grateful that it went well.”
