Aug. 11 (UPI) – Kelsea Ballerini graced the stage for her appearance on the iconic morning show, Today, last Friday. The country music singer, who is 29 years old, performed her latest song “Blindsided” and also engaged in a conversation about her boyfriend, actor Chase Stokes.
Ballerini gave a captivating rendition of “Blindsided” which is featured in her EP titled Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. This EP was released last February. She also showcased her talent by performing the song “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too)” from her album Subject to Change, which was released in September 2022.
Stokes, famously recognized for playing John B in the popular Netflix series Outer Banks, was present to show support for Ballerini during her appearance on Today.
During the interview, which can be viewed here, Ballerini expressed nothing but admiration for her new boyfriend. “I’m incredibly happy,” she said. “It’s truly amazing to feel such unwavering support and to be truly seen. He’s a phenomenal human being.”
Ballerini and Stokes made their red carpet debut as a couple at the CMT Music Awards in April. The couple first sparked dating rumors in January of the same year.
Prior to dating Stokes, Ballerini was previously married to Morgan Evans, but they separated in August 2022. Stokes, on the other hand, had a romantic relationship with his Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline.
