Joe Jonas Warns Concert Crowd: The Truth Behind False Beliefs

Joe Jonas captivated the crowd during the recent Jonas Brothers concert at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium with a mysterious statement. He urged the audience to not believe any rumors unless they come directly from him, possibly addressing the recent speculation surrounding his divorce from actor Sophie Turner.

Amidst cheers and applause, Jonas declared, “It’s been a tough week. I just wanna say: Look, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. OK? Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.”

Since Jonas filed for divorce from Turner last week, numerous reports have surfaced, speculating on various reasons for the separation. Some claim that Turner’s partying habits contributed to the divorce, while others suggest that a Ring camera incident played a role. Although neither Jonas nor Turner have directly addressed these specific reports, their joint statement emphasized that the decision to divorce was mutual and requested privacy for themselves and their children.

Their statement reads, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”

In light of the divorce announcement, past statements made by Jonas and Turner have been revisited. In a 2022 interview with Elle UK, Turner expressed her longing for the United Kingdom and her need to be near her friends and family for her mental well-being.

Turner said, “I miss England so much. The people, the attitude, everything. I’m slowly dragging my husband back. I really love living in America but, for my mental health, I have to be around my friends and my family.”

Jonas has also faced criticism for asking model Gigi Hadid out when he was 19 or 20 and she was 13 or 14. Hadid shared this anecdote in a 2015 Teen Vogue article, describing her nervousness and the fact that they remained friends ever since, eventually becoming more than just friends.

She recalled, “I was so nervous; I literally didn’t even know what it meant to hang out with a boy. And also, Grammys are on a Sunday, and I didn’t want to tell him that I had school the next day, so I was like, ‘No, maybe next time.’”

Hadid continued, “I didn’t have my phone with me, and I don’t think he did either because we were at the Grammys, and so he wrote his number on a piece of paper and gave it to my mom. And then we’ve been friends ever since. Except now, we’re more than friends. Obvs.”
