Jeffrey Epstein’s New Mexico Ranch Finally Sold, Two Years Later

Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious New Mexico ranch, where he committed heinous acts of sexual abuse, has finally been sold after being on the market for over two years. The estate, known as ‘Zorro Ranch,’ was purchased by an undisclosed buyer, according to Daniel Weiner, an attorney representing Epstein’s estate. Although the details of the sale, including the price and the buyer’s identity, remain confidential, it will be disclosed in the estate’s upcoming accounting filing.

The ranch, located in Stanley, south of Santa Fe, spans thousands of acres and features a three-story, four-bedroom main house. Epstein had disturbing plans to turn the ranch into a “baby-making factory,” where he intended to inseminate victims. Numerous women have come forward, accusing him of sexually abusing them on the property. While Epstein was never charged with a crime in New Mexico, the ranch played a significant role in his sex-trafficking operation.

Epstein purchased the ranch in 1993 from Gary King, the former attorney general of New Mexico. The compound consisted of privately owned and leased federal lands. After renewed allegations surfaced against Epstein in 2019, concerning his involvement with underage girls, the state land commissioner terminated the grazing agreement with him.

The ranch, with its remote location and closed gates, proved challenging to access. Visitors had to be escorted onto the property and use side entrances. Security was tight, and constant surveillance was present during construction and maintenance work.

The estate includes a grand main house, a nearby caretaker’s residence, a grass airstrip, a hangar, stables, a firehouse, and a yurt. The sale proceeds will be used for the administration of Epstein’s estate, including tax payments, creditors, and claimants.

Epstein’s other properties have also been sold. His Manhattan townhouse fetched an impressive $51 million, while his Palm Beach, Florida, compound, infamous for displaying a photo of Epstein kissing his alleged madame Ghislane Maxwell, sold for $18.5 million and was subsequently demolished. Billionaire Stephen Deckoff purchased Epstein’s two Caribbean islands for $60 million, with plans to develop them into a world-class destination.

Epstein’s legacy of abuse continues to haunt his properties, but their sale represents a step towards closure and justice for his victims.
