Is it Worth Buying More of Eli Lilly After a Significant Rally?

Here’s our Club Mailbag email [email protected] — so you can send your questions directly to Jim Cramer and his team of analysts. We are unable to provide personal investing advice. However, we are more than happy to address general questions regarding the investment process, stocks in the portfolio, or related industries.

This week’s question: I’m learning so much from the Club about when to buy and sell. One piece of the puzzle that still confuses me is the price target. Using Eli Lilly as an example: Jim recently posted a new 12-month price target of $600 while the stock currently trades around $528. Purchasing at the current price would result in a potential 14% increase. However, I am unsure if I should wait for a lower price to maximize profitability or take advantage of the potential gain. How should an investor consider the price target? — Thank you, Kathy
