The legendary folk artist Bob Dylan and his band, known for their album “Freewheelin’,” are bringing their talents to Proctors on October 30. This concert is part of Dylan’s globally recognized “Rough and Rowdy Ways” tour, which commenced in 2021. “Rough and Rowdy Ways,” released in 2020, marked an important milestone for Dylan as it was his first album of original songs in nearly a decade, following his 2012 release.
In his previous visit to the Capital Region in 2017, Dylan graced the stage at the Palace Theatre. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his scheduled performance at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in July 2020 had to be canceled.
Tickets for this highly anticipated event can be purchased online at www.proctors.org starting this Friday. We apologize for any confusion caused by our earlier version of this article, which incorrectly stated that Bob Dylan’s last performance in the Capital Region was at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in 2013 during the Americanarama Music Festival, alongside My Morning Jacket and Wilco. We have since corrected this information to accurately reflect that Dylan’s last concert took place at the Palace Theatre in 2017.
