Budol explained that she would first wait for the chance to represent the Philippines in a global competition before completely signing off from pageantry. Budol recently won the title of Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 but will not be able to represent the country in the Miss Tourism World pageant due to franchise licensing issues, as stated by Hiyas ng Pilipinas chairman Mike Sordilla. However, there seems to be confusion regarding which international pageant Budol will compete in, as Sordilla mentioned that Miss Grand Philippines didn’t specify it as Miss Tourism World.
