He stated, “Republicans should never mistake honesty for weakness.” Duncan played a role in removing titles from three legislators who backed Trump’s attempt to overturn the election results. Chidi, who stumbled upon a meeting of fraudulent electors at the state Capitol, also mentioned his upcoming appearance on Tuesday.
Other potential witnesses, such as Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who was pressured by Trump to manipulate votes in his favor, have not yet been summoned.
