Exploring the Female Perspective: Unveiling Women’s Fascination with the Roman Empire

  • This week, the internet was astonished to discover that men have a deep fascination with the Roman Empire.
  • Some women were surprised to learn that their partners think about the Roman Empire on a daily basis.
  • Now, people are discussing the “female version” of this trend.

Earlier this week, the internet was taken aback to learn that men have an obsession with the Roman Empire, even thinking about it on a daily basis.

This surprising revelation has sparked viral reactions from partners sharing their thoughts on TikTok and X (formerly known as Twitter).

The conversation took an interesting turn when professional charcuterie artist Emmy Rener posed the question: what is the female equivalent of the Roman Empire?

Rener’s TikTok video and the ensuing comments and responses have revealed stark differences between the regular thoughts of men and women.

Kidnapping and violent crime are common concerns among women

Many women who responded to the TikTok expressed that they often think about serious subjects like being victims of violence.

Danyelle Leyden, a popular TikToker, shared in a response video that being kidnapped is a recurring fear for her.

Leyden’s experiences and the similar thoughts shared by other women highlight the societal differences and the need for women to be cautious in their lives.

Other TikTokers echoed Leyden’s sentiments, expressing fears of being assaulted or murdered and constantly worrying about potential intruders.

Princess Diana, the Salem Witch Trials, and the Titanic are among women’s regular thoughts

On TikTok, women shared various topics they frequently think about, including the likes of Princess Diana, Greek mythology, the Titanic, Helen Keller, and the Salem Witch Trials.

One TikToker humorously mentioned that her regular thoughts revolve around historical events like the six wives of Henry VIII, the Titanic, the Romanovs, and Greek mythology.

Furthermore, some women revealed their regular thoughts about Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks’ iconic 1997 performance of “Silver Springs,” which gained popularity again after the release of “Daisy Jones and The Six.”

Interestingly, some women admitted that they also think about the Roman Empire.

Carly Maris, a postdoctoral fellow at San Diego State University who specializes in Rome, Persia, and Egypt, humorously responded on TikTok that the female version of the Roman Empire is, well, the Roman Empire itself.

Emmy Renner, the creator of the original TikTok video, has not provided any comment on this trend yet.
