Aug. 18 (UPI) — Dolly Parton enlisted the help of former Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr for her rendition of the band’s iconic track “Let It Be.”

Parton, at the age of 77, released a new cover of “Let It Be” on Friday, featuring McCartney, Starr, Mick Fleetwood, and Peter Frampton.

Parton revealed the collaboration on Sunday through an Instagram announcement.

“This song is really special to me because I’m joined by @paulmccartney who wrote the song, along with @ringostarrmusic, @mrpeterframpton, and @mickfleetwoodofficial,” she wrote on Instagram.

The original version of “Let It Be” was released by The Beatles in 1970 and is featured on their album of the same name.

Parton’s rendition of the song is included in her upcoming album titled Rockstar, which consists of nine original songs and 21 covers of favorite rock tracks. She collaborated with various artists such as Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Steven Tyler, Pat Benetar, Debbie Harry, and Linda Perry, among others.

“I’m thrilled to finally present my first Rock and Roll album, Rockstar! It’s been an honor and privilege to work with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time, and singing all these iconic songs throughout the album has brought me immeasurable joy,” Parton said in May.

In June, Parton released “Bygones” featuring Rob Halford from Judas Priest and “Magic Man” featuring Ann Wilson from Heart.

The release date for Rockstar is set for November 17.
