The top-ranked safest cars in India, based on the Global New Car Assessment Program (GNCAP) ratings, include the Volkswagen Virtus, which received a 5-star rating in both adult and child occupant safety with a score of 42 out of 49 points and a total ranking of 71.71 out of 83. The VW Virtus is equipped with advanced safety features such as six airbags, electronic stability control, park distance control, rear-view camera, hill hold assist, and multi-collision brakes.
