Darren Waller Suffers Hamstring Injury: Latest Addition to Injury Report

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants’ latest injury report includes some notable names.

Surprisingly, tight end Darren Waller has been added to the report with a hamstring injury and is now listed as questionable. This comes after Waller’s first limited practice session today.

Another significant update is that wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson is doubtful for the upcoming game. Robinson has been sidelined since tearing his ACL last November against Detroit.

The Giants acquired Waller in a trade with Las Vegas on March 15, giving up a third-round draft choice. Waller quickly developed a strong connection with quarterback Daniel Jones, becoming a favorite target throughout the spring, training camp, and preseason.

Additionally, the active roster includes tight ends Daniel Bellinger and Lawrence Cager, while Tyree Jackson and Ryan Jones are on the practice squad.

Robinson returned from the reserve/physically unable to perform list on August 29 and has been participating in practice. However, he was limited today.

As a second-round draft choice in 2022, Robinson made an impact during his rookie season with six games played, three starts, and 23 receptions for 227 yards and one touchdown. In his final game, he stood out with nine receptions for 100 yards, leading the team.

Defensive lineman D.J. Davidson (knee) and linebacker Cam Brown (ankle) are also listed as questionable on the injury report.

Furthermore, cornerback Cor’Dale Flott (hamstring) and rookie safety Gervarrius Owens (safety) are doubtful.

All six players mentioned, along with running back Gary Brightwell (knee) and Cager (ankle), had limited participation in practice.
