CMC drops funny Frankenstein quip in explaining viral helmet moment
Christian McCaffrey, the star running back of the San Francisco 49ers, showcased his well-oiled machine-like precision during San Francisco’s 31-13 Thanksgiving feast against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.
In a literal incident on the sideline, McCaffrey’s robotic-like abilities became apparent when the NBC broadcast showed McCaffrey undergoing helmet surgery in the second quarter.
The viral shot of McCaffrey led to an explanation from him after the game. He revealed that the back of his helmet had broken, necessitating a replacement. He humorously compared himself to Frankenstein, expressing the feeling of being pieced back together.
Despite the helmet mishap, McCaffrey delivered an outstanding performance with 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns, solidifying his reputation as a key player for the 49ers.
