Chinese Smartphone Brand Unveils Innovative Wearable Bag-Like Device

At the IFA technology show in Berlin, Chinese smartphone giant Honor showcased its concept device, the Honor V Purse, aiming to demonstrate its innovative capabilities and distinguish itself in the competitive global market.

The Honor V Purse, a foldable smartphone, is designed to be worn like a handbag, with hooks for attaching a handbag strap. The top strip of the device contains the camera, and the display can be customized to resemble different bags, with changeable bag straps.

An interesting feature of the Honor V Purse is its customizable faces that can open up into real apps. For example, one bag design includes a charm bracelet with a camera icon. Pressing the camera charm opens the camera app for taking pictures.

While the demand for a phone that looks like a bag remains uncertain, the convergence of fashion and technology is increasingly evident. Smartwatches, offering customizable straps and faces, exemplify this trend.

Although it is unlikely that the Honor V Purse will be released in its current form, Honor aims to showcase its ability to innovate and compete in the premium smartphone market, positioning itself alongside industry giants like Apple and Samsung.
