Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay Set to Film Exciting New Show in Upstate New York

June 20, 2023 – Saugerties witnessed the presence of the renowned British chef, restaurateur, and television personality, Gordon Ramsay, as he filmed a new and yet-to-be-identified show. The production was confirmed by Laurent Rejto, President of the Hudson Valley Film Commission. The shoot took place at Love Bites Cafe on Partition Street. While several crew members referred to it as a new episode of “Kitchen Nightmares,” a series that recently resurfaced after a decade-long hiatus, Rejto clarified that it is, in fact, a completely “new show.”

Gordon Ramsay, popular for his latest competition series “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars,” which premiered on Fox last month, had previously aired “Kitchen Nightmares” for almost a decade, with nearly 100 episodes from 2007 to 2014. In the show, Ramsay would assist struggling restaurant owners across the United States in reviving their businesses. On the other hand, “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” is a competitive program where industry entrepreneurs face various challenges to display their business skills and determination. The ultimate victor is awarded a personal investment of $250,000 from Ramsay.

The images shared by the Hudson Valley Film Commission on their Facebook page, showcasing the production, sparked comments indicating that Love Bites Cafe remained open for service during the filming. The commission played a vital role in providing local crew members for this production. Despite the ongoing strike causing some disruptions, Laurent Rejto expressed excitement about having five productions underway in the region.
