Even the fictional residents of Wimbledon, the Wombles, made an appearance in the form of a knitted cover near the train station.
Although there were notable absences, such as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, their legacies were honored throughout the tournament. And while Petra Kvitova suffered a tough loss against Jabeur, players like Elina Svitolina captured the hearts of tennis fans with their incredible performances.
The tournament reached its climax with Alcaraz’s triumphant win on Centre Court. The 20-year-old Spaniard celebrated with his team in time-honored Wimbledon tradition, and his joy was evident as he kissed the prestigious Wimbledon trophy.
