Business Leaders Call on Biden for Assistance in Addressing Migrant Crisis

The Issue: An Urgent Plea from 122 Business Owners to President Biden for Aid in Obtaining Work Permits for NYC Migrants

It appears that once again, the corporate elites fail to grasp the urgency of the situation at hand (“Help us!” Aug. 28). We must demand the closure of the border as the first and utmost crucial step in addressing this crisis. The provision of work permits only serves to incentivize illegal border crossings. It’s truly astonishing that these business leaders, who continue to donate to the Biden campaign, neglect to hold accountable influential figures like Senator Chuck Schumer, the majority leader in the Senate, or Junior Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Where is their voice in all of this? And what about Representative Hakeem Jeffries, the House Democratic leader? These are the most powerful political leaders from New York state. It’s crucial that New Yorkers, and indeed all citizens, pay attention and demand answers from these individuals. It seems they prioritize partisan interests over serving their constituents, except when it’s time for elections, and sadly, a majority of us fall for it time and time again.

Governor Kathy Hochul has taken a stand against President Biden’s administration, urging them to take action and address the overwhelming influx of migrants flooding into New York. The severity of these crises, affecting not only New York City but other major cities as well, is evident in the letter penned by executives who reside and work here, pleading for assistance. Biden’s border policy appears to be a deliberate effort to permanently alter our demographics, regardless of the resulting harmful consequences. He has failed to protect and defend us, leading to detrimental effects on our cities and our nation as a whole. It is imperative that an investigation be conducted into the reasons behind this unfolding situation. His unconscionable refusal to aid New York City in dealing with the problem he himself has caused calls for immediate action. Biden should face impeachment and be removed from office.

In the past, big business used to rule the land, but those days are long gone. The business leaders of New York City will soon find out that President Biden will provide no assistance in helping these migrants obtain work permits. Despite the desperate pleas of 122 business leaders, asking Biden to combat the border crisis and expedite work applications, he will simply ignore their requests because he lacks the care and empathy needed for such matters. As previously stated, Biden is a narcissist who disregards the feelings and concerns of others. That is the end of the story.

Migrants are overwhelming New York City, and there seems to be no support coming from Biden. If we want to capture his attention, we should send busloads of migrants to Washington, D.C. That will undoubtedly seize the attention of lawmakers more effectively than a superficial plea from business leaders.

Should we really expect a response from the mentally challenged occupant of the White House, or from the Democratic congressional leadership? It’s highly unlikely that our hopes will be fulfilled. Moreover, nearly all Democratic elected officials from New York, with very few exceptions, are in complete alignment with the administration. Has anyone ever heard Senator Schumer or any other Democrat voicing their concerns about this issue? Do they even consider the financial burden that providing for “our guests” will bring upon us, be it through increased taxes or a reduction in vital services? It’s time to redirect those buses towards Delaware. That might finally get their attention. How many of these so-called “migrants” have been placed in Delaware?

Business owners, it’s evident that Biden won’t offer any assistance. He despises you and all that you represent – hard work, sacrifice, and contributing to the community. And to add insult to injury, you’re left to grapple with skyrocketing electric and gas prices. Neither Biden nor Adams will come to your aid. They entered office to fulfill their own egos and ambitions, not to help you. My apologies if you thought otherwise.
