Breaking News: Real Housewives of Orange County Star Shannon Beador Arrested for DUI and Hit-and-Run – Orange County Register

Cast member Shannon Beador of “Real Housewives of Orange County” was recently arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and hit-and-run in Newport Beach. The Newport Beach Police Department confirmed the arrest and booking of Beador, 59, in the early hours of Sunday. The charges against Beador include alcohol-related DUI and hit-and-run with property damage, both of which are considered misdemeanor offenses by the police.

After her arrest, Beador was released shortly thereafter. According to City News Service, she was accused of colliding with residential property. The incident occurred on Saturday night at the intersection of Via Oporto and Via Lido in Newport Beach, as stated by Newport Beach Police Department Sgt. Steve Oberon.

Attempts have been made to contact Beador’s attorney, Michael Fell, for a comment on the matter. Fell, in a statement to E! News, expressed Beador’s deep remorse and her willingness to take full responsibility for her actions, once official information on the case becomes available.

Jeff Lewis, a real estate agent and friend of Beador, revealed on his Sirius XM radio show that he spoke with Beador after the incident. According to People, Lewis stated that Beador is accepting full accountability for the incident and is currently recovering from her injuries.

Beador joined the Bravo franchise in 2014 as a cast member of “Real Housewives of Orange County.”

It is worth noting that alcohol consumption is a recurring theme in almost every episode of “RHOC.” Beador, along with Tamra Judge and former housewife Vicki Gunvalson, often indulged in heavy partying and tequila shots during their girls’ trips on the show. The recent reunion of the trio on a Cabo girls’ trip involved excessive drinking.
